Barcelona starlet Georgios Spanoudakis has still not reached an agreement with Arsenal, according to Catalunya-based daily Sport.

Spanoudakis, who is of Greek origin but has represented Germany at youth level, joined Barcelona’s famous La Masia academy in 2009.

The German Under-16 international was extensively scouted by the north London club over the course of last season and they are willing to bring him to England this summer.

It was extensively reported earlier this week that Arsenal have secured the signature of the 15-year-old – but it seems the deal is not done yet.

Barcelona’s youth academy has been a good hunting ground for Arsenal and in the past they have signed the likes of Cesc Fabregas, Hector Bellerin, Jon Toral, Julio Pleguezuelo and Fran Merida from La Masia.
