Liverpool have called off Loic Remy's move to the club due to concerns arising from the player's medical.

Remy had been due to join the Reds on a five-year contract after they met his release clause at QPR, a figure believed to be around the £8.5m mark.

Personal terms had been agreed with the France international, leaving only a medical standing in the way of him becoming a Liverpool player.

However, according to ITV, Remy's medical results gave Liverpool cause for concern.

And it now appears that the deal to sign the striker is off, with Liverpool reluctant to complete the deal.
