Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that Liverpool have “still got some business to do” in the summer transfer market.

The Reds, who are back in the Champions League after a gap of five years by virtue of finishing the 2013/14 Premier League season in second spot, have already signed six players this summer, namely Rickie Lambert, Adam Lallana, Emre Can, Lazar Markovic, Dejan Lovren and Divock Origi.

However, with Origi loaned back to Lille for the entire season and the deal to bring in Queens Park Rangers forward Loic Remy called off following a failed medical, Rodgers previously admitted that Liverpool are in search for a striker.

And it is also believed that the Northern Irishman, who wants a complete squad at his disposal by the end of August, is on the lookout for a left-back, with the former Swansea City boss interested in roping in Sevilla’s Alberto Moreno.

"We still have some positions that we want to fill within the squad so that by the end of August we have a strong group of players to go forward with”, Rodgers explained to Liverpool’s official site.
