Chelsea custodian Thibaut Courtois has expressed his desire to see Petr Cech continue at Chelsea in order to learn from him.

The highly-rated Belgian spent the last three years out on loan at Atletico Madrid, but has returned to his parent club this year and will fight for a place in the first team when the season starts.

His inclusion into Jose Mourinho's side might mean that current number one Cech finds it difficult to make it to the starting eleven in the lion's share of matches and hence might as well force a move out of Stamford Bridge.

However, in spite of all the speculation related to the 32-year-old's career at the club, Courtois insists that he is eager to work with Cech and learn as much as possible from him.

"Petr has had a really nice 10 years here", Courtois was quoted as saying by the BBC.

"He's one of the best goalkeepers in the world.

"Every goalkeeper can have a type of thing they are usually good at so when you see them train you can learn from him and other keepers, too.

"I signed with Chelsea three years ago but because of the loan it took until Thursday to have my first training session, so I'm really happy to be here."
