Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has insisted that the club are not going to sign any of the Premier League players that they have been linked with.

Atletico Madrid are looking to build a team that will mount a credible defence of their La Liga title next season and have been linked with a whole host of names this summer.

Manchester United’s Javier Hernandez, Chelsea’s Fernando Torres and Arsenal’s Santi Cazorla have all been linked to a move to the Vicente Calderon.

However, Cerezo has rubbished speculation over the Spanish-speaking group and suggested that they are not interested in the Premier League trio.

"Many names have been mentioned, but none of those players, neither Cazorla, Torres nor Chicharito are on our agenda", Cerezo told Radio Marca.

"If we sign another player, it won't be any of them."

The Spanish champions have already secured the signatures of Mario Mandzukic, Antoine Griezmann and Jan Oblak this summer. The club are still in the market to sign a number of other players before the transfer window closes at the end of this month.

Los Colchoneros will start their title defence away to Rayo Vallecano on 25th August.
