Dutch midfielder Leroy Fer is undergoing a medical at QPR ahead of his switch from Norwich City.

Fer joined the Canaries last summer from Dutch outfit Twente but could not prevent Norwich’s relegation from the Premier League last season.

The 24-year-old, who made 29 league appearances for Norwich last season, is set to be back in English football’s top flight and is on his way to joining QPR.

A transfer fee of around £7m has been agreed between the Championship side and the newly-promoted Premier League outfit.

Fer is currently undergoing a medical at the London side, according to Press Association.
