Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has again said that he is unaware of Angel di Maria’s decision over his future, but insists that he will keep selecting the Argentine as long as he is available.

Ancelotti’s reluctance to lose Di Maria has been well documented, but speculation over the Argentine’s future has refused to die down.

Paris Saint-Germain bowed out of the race to sign Di Maria earlier this month as they feel he is too expensive, but Manchester United have been consistently linked with a move for the winger.

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal is keen to add wide options to his squad and has identified the Argentine as a key transfer target this summer.

Di Maria made a substitute appearance in Real Madrid’s 1-1 draw against Atletico Madrid last night and Ancelotti again clarified his position on the Argentine, when asked for an update.

“Di Maria is available, like everyone else”, the Italian was quoted as saying by Eurosport.

“Whether he starts or not, he will have opportunities to showcase his talent like everyone else.”

The Real Madrid manager also explained that he is unaware of whether the Argentine has made a decision on his future, but the Italian will keep selecting him as long as he is at the club.

“I do not know what Di Maria has decided.

“But I know he will train with us and he can help us.

"Until 31st August it will be like this and then his case will be resolved and things will return to normal.”
