Chelsea are interested in signing Roma striker Mattia Destro, the player's agent has admitted, however the Italian does not want to leave the Stadio Olimpico this summer.

Jose Mourinho's men have been linked with offering to swap out-of-favour striker Fernando Torres for Destro, as they seek to snap up the Italy international and offload their misfiring Spaniard.

But Destro's agent says no swap agreement is on the cards, even if he can confirm that Chelsea are firm fans of the Roma hitman.

"It's true that Chelsea are interested in Mattia", ITV quoted Destro's agent as saying.

"But the reports regarding a swap deal have no foundation, it's all speculation", he added.
