Radamel Falcao’s agent Jorge Mendes will meet the Monaco hierarchy in the next 48 hours and ask for a loan move to Juventus for his client.

Mendes, who is on the verge of completing another high profile move, for Angel di Maria to Manchester United, will turn his attention towards Falcao next.

Falcao’s future at the Ligue 1 side has been a source of constant speculation although the Colombian insisted earlier this summer that he will stay at Monaco.

AC Milan are keen to sign him as a replacement for Mario Balotelli, but it is their Italian rivals Juventus who are believed to be the leading the race to sign the 28-year-old.

The Bianconeri lack the financial muscle to purchase the Colombian therefore they are eyeing a loan deal for Falcao.

Mendes will meet Monaco president Dmitry Rybolovlev in the next 48 hours and request he sanctions Falcao’s loan move to Turin, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

Although, the Old Lady are in no position to offer the €12m pay package that Falcao earns at Monaco, the Colombian is eager to join the Italian champions and is ready to take a pay cut.

The 28-year-old made only 21 appearances for Monaco last season due to injuries, but still managed to hit the back of the net 12 times. He has already scored a league goal this season in two appearances.
