Manchester United defender Jonny Evans is expected to make a comeback from his injury woes tonight against MK Dons.

Evans, who has missed the start of the season due to a leg injury, is expected to feature in the League Cup tie at the Stadium MK.




Centre-back Chris Smalling also sustained a groin injury on Sunday, which forced Michael Keane into action against Sunderland.

With Evans’ return, manager Louis van Gaal will be able to add an experienced head to his defensive unit.
 


The Dutchman is expected to experiment tonight against the League One outfit and he might give an opportunity to few youngsters in the squad.

However, Argentine defender Marcos Rojo will not feature against MK Dons as he is still waiting to get a work permit.

The two clubs have not met each other since Wimbledon relocated to Milton Keynes and became the MK Dons.
