Angel di Maria arrived in Manchester last night and has already made his way to Manchester United's training ground, while Real Madrid start to count their cash influx.

The Red Devils thrashed out a final fee of €75m, plus a further €15m in potential bonus payments, with Real Madrid for Di Maria yesterday.

The €15m variables for Di Maria are complicated and depend upon Manchester United winning trophies during the winger's stay at Old Trafford, along with the player's performances on the pitch.

Los Blancos estimate, according to Madrid-based daily Marca, that €5m of the add-ons will be easily achieved, a further €5m are likely if Di Maria performs, while the final €5m may prove more difficult as they are dependent upon substantial success for Manchester United.

Di Maria's sale to Manchester United hits the one stipulation Real Madrid were looking for: that it cover the €75m spent to sign James Rodriguez from Monaco earlier this summer.

The sale of the Argentina international will net Real Madrid a record incoming fee, surpassing the €50m earned by selling Mesut Ozil to Arsenal last summer.

Manchester United could announce the signing of Di Maria as early as later today.
