Leeds United boss David Hockaday has confirmed that the club's new signing Casper Sloth could be in line to feature on Saturday against Bolton Wanderers, but is not in the mix for tonight's League Cup clash.

The Whites lock horns with local rivals Bradford City in the League Cup this evening and there had been talk Sloth could make a quick debut.

But Hockaday has ruled out the Danish midfielder featuring, though right-back Gaetano Berardi is available following the completion of his suspension.

"Sloth came into the club on Monday and we had a look at him in regards to fitness", Hockaday explained to his club's site.

"It is highly unlikely that he will be involved on Wednesday night but we will look at him on Friday to see if he is ready for Saturday’s game", the Leeds boss continued.

Hockaday also believes the international break may come at an opportune moment for Leeds and help further with new signing integration.

"The good thing for Casper and Mirco Antenucci is that after Saturday we have the international break where we can really get the group together.

"We’ll be able to work the whole group and timing wise that will be good for us."
