Ajax have inserted a sell-on clause into their agreement to sell Daley Blind to Manchester United.

The Dutch champions today confirmed an agreement to sell Blind to the Red Devils, with Manchester United having agreed to pay a basic €18m plus unspecified bonus payments for the Netherlands international.

Ajax have released Blind from their squad for the weekend Eredivisie clash with FC Groningen and he is travelling to England for talks over personal terms, followed by a medical, with Manchester United.

The Dutch champions have also taken steps to ensure that if Manchester United cash in on Blind in future, they will again reap a reward.

According to Dutch daily De Telegraaf, the Eredivisie champions have inserted a sell-on clause into the deal, entitling them to a percentage of any future fee Manchester United receive for Blind.
