Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has refused to be drawn on talk his side could sign Alvaro Negredo from Manchester City and Radamel Falcao from Monaco.

Falcao was left out of Monaco's matchday squad for today's Ligue 1 draw with Lille, leading to speculation he is set to exit the Stade Louis II.

Meanwhile, Manchester City hitman Negredo has been linked with arriving at the Bernabeu to offer increased attacking options to Ancelotti.

But the Real Madrid manager was in no mood to either confirm or deny his interest in the pair.

Asked about Falcao and Negredo at a press conference, Ancelotti replied: "I cannot confirm anything.
