Fabio Borini's move to QPR from Liverpool appears to have broken down, with the Italian unable to agree personal terms with the Hoops.

Liverpool accepted a £10m bid from QPR for Borini earlier today, sending the former Roma man into discussions with the Loftus Road outfit.

However, following discussions between the player's agent and QPR, no agreement has been able to be reached.

QPR owner Tony Fernandes confirmed on Sky Sports that the player and his agent's demands were out of line with the amount the Hoops are willing to pay.

Borini is now expected to remain at Liverpool, where his playing time is expected to be limited.
