Liverpool have accepted a £10m bid from Queens Park Rangers for Sunderland target and Italian striker Fabio Borini.

Borini, who joined the Reds from Roma in 2012, spent the last season on loan with the Black Cats.

Sunderland are very keen to land the Liverpool striker and Gus Poyet has reiterated that desire a number of times during the summer.

However, QPR are ready to hijack Sunderland’s move for Borini and made a late bid for striker earlier today.

Liverpool have accepted the £10m bid for Borini from the London side, according to the Press Association.
