Real Madrid are making a late move to sign Inter Milan midfielder Fredy Guarin on a season-long loan deal.

Guarin’s future in Milan has been a source of constant speculation this summer and it is believed that the Colombian might leave the club by the time the transfer window closes.

Juventus are the top contenders to sign the midfielder, however Real Madrid are ready to scupper the Bianconeri’s move for Guarin.

Los Blancos are ready to offer a €3m loan fee to Inter for the Colombian international, according to Sky Italia.

Xabi Alonso joined Bayern Munich last week and Real Madrid are keen to replace the Spaniard with Guarin.
