Brazil legend Ronaldinho has chosen to continue his career in Mexico, signing a deal with Queretaro.

The Mexican top flight side have secured the services of the 34-year-old on a two-year contract, ending speculation surrounding where Ronaldinho would move to.



The attacking midfielder, who has been linked with Indian Super League side Chennai, a switch to the MLS, and Premier League outfit West Ham, has chosen Mexico as his new home.

Ronaldinho explained via Twitter: "I chose Mexico for the affection I have always received here. I am very motivated to represent Queretaro."

 


Queretaro will be hoping the addition of Ronaldinho gives their season and chances of silverware a boost.

The club currently sit eighth in the Mexican Liga MX, in the final playoff place, with ten points.
