Queens Park Rangers are trying to attract out of contract former Inter Milan midfielder Gaby Mudingayi to Loftus Road.

The Belgian midfielder spent a season on loan at Inter from Bologna before making the move permanent last summer.

However, he gradually felt out of favour at the San Siro under Walter Mazzarri and only made three senior appearances for the Nerazzurri last season.

He is out of contract and is still looking for a new club for this campaign.

Harry Redknapp is keen to sign the veteran midfielder to add steel to the QPR midfield, according to Italian broadcaster Sport Mediaset.

Mudingayi is more inclined towards staying in Italy, but he is ready to move to England if there is a good offer on the table.

He has earned 17 international caps for Belgium and has made 205 appearances in Serie A for three different clubs.
