Mo Diame has revealed he was looking forward to locking horns with West Ham last night.

The powerful midfielder exited the Hammers in the summer transfer window, switching to Steve Bruce's Hull City in a move which left a bitter taste in the mouths of a number of West Ham fans.

And last night at the KC Stadium, Diame returned to haunt his former club by scoring Hull's second in a 2-2 draw, something he was quick to reveal he had dreamt about doing.

The midfielder dubbed the clash tough, but also expressed his pleasure at having been able to lock horns with Sam Allardyce's men.

"I enjoyed my debut very much", he told his club's site.
