Ludogorets Razgrad winger Virgil Misidjan thinks that his side are capable of beating Liverpool in the Champions League.
The Bulgarian outfit are making their first appearance in Europe’s elite club competition and are placed in Group B along with Real Madrid, FC Basel and Liverpool.
They will travel to Anfield to take on the five-time European champions Liverpool this evening for their group opener.
However, Misidjan is not feeling intimidated at the prospect of facing the European giants on their home turf.
The winger admits that beating Real Madrid is improbable, but he believes Ludogorets have the ability to cause an upset against Liverpool.

The Bulgarians are not expected to qualify for the knockout rounds, but the Dutch winger has already outlined a possible route to the last 16 of the competition for Ludogorets.
“We will not win against Real Madrid but we can beat Liverpool”, Misidjan told Brabants Dagblad.
“They lost to Aston Villa on Saturday.
“And we must win both our fixtures against Basel.”
