Paris Saint-Germain manager Laurent Blanc admits that his side lost control of their match in the second half against Lyon.

Samuel Umtiti scored a late equaliser to earn a 1-1 draw for Lyon against PSG at the Parc des Princes last night.

Edinson Cavani scored his fifth goal in eight matches in the 20th minute to give the lead to PSG but they failed to add another which allowed Lyon to sneak in a late goal to earn a point.

Blanc admits that the Parisians lost control in the second half which allowed Lyon to pile on the pressure late in the game. He felt that the Parisians should have added another goal to kill the game.

"We controlled the first half, but after the break we could feel we were losing control”, the Frenchman told the club’s official site.

“Lyon really threw everything at us tonight, but I also think we weren't able to put away that second goal. That could have made the game safe.”

Blanc warned that they cannot afford not finishing off games to become a bad habit as PSG are a much better team than the result portrayed.

“We can't afford for this to become a chronic problem. We know that we can do a lot better."

After two wins and four draws, the defending champions are fifth in Ligue 1 on 10 points.
