Aston Villa forward Gabriel Agbonlahor has revealed that his team will try to remain positive in spite of their loss to Arsenal this weekend.

The Villans suffered their first defeat of the season as they were humbled 3-0 by the Gunners at home on Saturday.

Though disappointed with the loss, the 27-year-old believes that his team will have to remain positive and try to come up with a better performance against Chelsea next week.

"We'll keep positive", Agbonlahor told his club's official site.

"We've had a kick in the teeth but we'll be back and will stay positive against Chelsea.

"We're going to regroup and have a good week of training."

Agbonlahor also understands that the virus which several players suffered with before the Arsenal game will need to be eliminated as quickly as possible.

"We'll get rid of the virus that a few players have got.

"And then we will go to Stamford Bridge and try and get something.

"We know it will tough. They're a top side. We know we need to be 100% and we'll give it all we've got."

The Claret and Blues are currently placed third in the table with 10 points from five matches.

However, Paul Lambert's team will find it tough to hold on to their position, with the trip to Chelsea being followed by a home match against champions Manchester City the following weekend.
