Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger feels that Edinson Cavani is not able to completely express himself in the presence of Zlatan Ibrahimovic at Paris Saint-Germain.

The Uruguayan forward scored his fifth goal in eight games in PSG’s 1-1 draw against Lyon at the Parc des Princes last night.

Cavani, who was linked with Wenger's Arsenal and Manchester United in August, joined the French champions from Napoli in the summer of 2013, but has so far failed to replicate his form in Italy at PSG.

He has scored 28 goals in 48 games for the French champions, but Wenger feels that Cavani remains subdued at PSG because of the presence of Ibrahimovic as the French side's focal point.

“I really like the player, I like his attitude, but I think he's playing a little with his parking brakes on”, the Frenchman told TF1.

“He is not completely expressing himself thanks to the presence of Ibrahimovic.”

The Arsenal manager believes that the Swedish superstar is a hugely influential figure at PSG and it is difficult for any attacker to flourish beside him.

“He [Ibrahimovic] is very influential at all levels at PSG and there is little room for an attacker around him.”

Ibrahimovic has scored 81 goals in 96 appearances for PSG since arriving at the club from AC Milan in the summer of 2012.
