Atletico Madrid defender Diego Godin has warned his side they must keep their focus against Juventus in the Champions League tomorrow.

Last season's finalists lost their opening group stage match away at Greek champions Olympiacos, but have the chance to bounce back when Juventus, who beat Malmo, head to the Vicente Calderon.

Godin knows the task will be a tough one against the Italian champions, but insists he has faith in his side to do the job if they can keep their focus and bring intensity to their football.

He also dismissed suggestions the pressure of the occasion could affect Los Rojiblancos.

"Juventus have very good forwards and a great midfield. We will have to work as a team as usual. We must be focused, together and play with intensity. It’s very important for us to have our coach on the bench because there he can see things that cannot be seen from the stands", he was quoted as saying by UEFA.

"This is a final for us but we are used to play finals every week.

"We will have to play with intensity in defense and be creative in attack to beat [goalkeeper Gianluigi] Buffon. Juventus have been winning titles in recent years and they are doing well this season."
