Arsene Wenger is sure Arsenal will have a tougher time against Galatasaray when they visit Turkey, despite thrashing the Super Lig club 4-1 in the Champions League last night.

Wenger, who was celebrating the 18th anniversary of his appointment as Arsenal manager, watched his side overrun the Turkish outfit to lead 3-0 at half-time, with goals from Danny Welbeck (two) and Alexis Sanchez.

The Gunners went 4-0 up in the second half when Welbeck completed his hat-trick. They then conceded from the penalty spot soon after, also seeing goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny sent off, but the result was never in doubt.

Arsenal travel to Galatasaray for the reverse group fixture on 9th December and the Gunners boss is expecting a tougher time.

"I believe our game in Turkey will be much more difficult as there is a lot of talent in the team", the Frenchman told UEFA.

Wenger admits that his side did lose control of the game last night when their goalkeeper was sent off, something which allowed Galatasaray to show glimpses of their quality.

"You never know how difficult it is going to be. I felt we had a good start and we controlled the pace of the game.

"We lost control at 4-1 because we lost our goalkeeper. When they were allowed to play you could see the quality they had and maybe the pace at the beginning of the game was a problem for them", he added.
