Leeds United midfielder Casper Sloth feels his role as an attacking midfielder under new boss Darko Milanic went well and insists he feels comfortable in the position.

Milanic, who recently took over at Elland Road, played Sloth in an attacking midfield role in last night's 0-0 draw against Reading.

The Slovenian explained that he wanted Sloth to exploit the space between the lines against the Royals.

Sloth is unused to the role, but believes he is able to fulfil it for Leeds' new manager.

"It was not a wildly unusual role for me", Sloth explained to Bold.

"The manager just got here, so I do not know how well he knows me and the other players.

"I like to get the ball in the gap and move the game forward on the field – and it went fine", he added.

Sloth started his career in his homeland with AGF, graduating to the club's senior side in 2009.

The midfielder made his senior Denmark debut in 2012, having graduated every age group from Under-17s.
