Radamel Falcao has expressed his delight after scoring his first goal for Manchester United today, bagging the second in the Red Devils' 2-1 Premier League win over Everton at Old Trafford.

Fellow summer arrival Angel di Maria opened the scoring, before Everton levelled. However, up popped Falcao with a neat finish to open his Manchester United account and score his first goal for the club.



Falcao, who is on loan at Manchester United from Monaco, is pleased to have scored his first goal, saluting the experience of bulging the back of the net at Old Trafford.

"All strikers need goals, and for me there was a little bit of relief to score my first goal", he told MUTV.

 


"I hope to score many in the future. It was amazing that my first goal was at Old Trafford, I enjoyed it with all the fans and I want to say thank you to God, my team-mates, all the staff and the coaches", the Colombian added.

For Falcao, frustratingly he must wait for the chance to score another goal for the Red Devils and continue his goalscoring run.

The international break has arrived and the Colombian will hope he can hold onto his goalscoring boots before Manchester United's next game.
