Celtic boss Ronny Deila insists he is not concerned despite his side suffering a shock 1-0 defeat at home to Hamilton in the Scottish Premiership earlier today.

A well-taken 18-yard drive from Ali Crawford crashed into the Celtic net in the 49th minute, to which the home side had no answer, and which handed Hamilton their first win at Paradise for 76 years.

Celtic had chances, but saw John Guidetti and Anthony Stokes less than potent, while a Jason Denayer header was cleared off the line as Deila's men pushed for an equaliser.

Hamilton now top the Scottish Premiership on 20 points from nine games, while Celtic are just sixth with 14 points from eight games.

But Deila, looking at the balance of play in the match, sees no reason to be concerned and believes the side are making progress under his leadership.

"We had a lot of chances and didn’t score one goal so that’s disappointing", the Celtic manager told a press conference.

"I understand the fans booing. We have to win games and today we didn't. We should have.

"I’m not worried. When you have ten to fifteen chances, set plays, we should have won. We need to put the ball in the net.

"It’s very disappointing to lose at home. That’s not what we want. We have to turn this around and bounce back", he added.
