Arsenal legend Thierry Henry will not be hanging up his boots just yet, with New York Red Bulls having squeaked into the MLS playoffs.

The French striker is expected to retire from football when his contract with the Red Bulls comes to a close after this season, as the American club are not offering a renewal.

That meant if New York Red Bulls had not qualified for the playoffs he could have played his final game.

However, following a defeat for Houston at home against DC United and a Red Bulls win over Toronto, Henry's side are in the playoffs.

And that means the veteran striker will play on a little longer in what could be his final season in the game.
