Frank Lampard is all set to miss Manchester City's match against CSKA Moscow in the Champions League on Tuesday evening.

The former Chelsea midfielder hurt his thigh during Manchester City's 4-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur earlier today.

And that means he is likely to be absent when the Citizens board their plane to Russia.

Now Lampard must undergo a scan to determine the severity of the injury.

"We will see after the scan. For the moment, he will not travel to Russia", boss Manuel Pellegrini was quoted as saying by the BBC.
