Portuguese giants Benfica are aiming to increase the buy-out clause of Brazilian midfielder Talisca, amid interest in the player from Arsenal and Liverpool.

Benfica only snapped up Talisca in the summer transfer window, but he has wasted no time in making his mark at the Estadio da Luz, catching the eye of several of Europe's elite clubs.

Talisca already has a contract running until 2019 with Benfica, having inked the deal upon signing from Bahia in the summer.

The contract contains a release clause of €45m, but Benfica are growing concerned that the sum may be reached by one of Talisca's suitors.

And so, according to Portuguese daily O Jogo, a new deal with an increased buy-out clause is on the cards.
