Arturo Vidal has insisted his relationship with Juventus is good and claims the club have not fined him.

It had been reported that Vidal had been fined €100,000 by the Bianconeri for going out late the night before Juventus took on Roma in Serie A.

It was also suggested that the Italian champions are preparing to offload the midfielder, who was chased by Manchester United throughout the summer.

But Vidal has hit back, saying in a statement published on his Twitter account: "Given the information in the media in recent days I would like to clarify a few things.

"My relationship with everyone at Juve is good. My team-mates, the coaching staff and the club have confidence in me and I in them.

"The club have not fined me. The information on this subject is wrong and in many cases ill-intentioned."

The Chile midfielder also stressed there is no problem with his knee, which it has been claimed has troubled the player persistently over the last six months.

"My knee is doing very well", he wrote.

"With work and effort I will come back to my best form after I undergoing the operation that meant I was not able to carry out a full pre-season like my team-mates.

"I am 100 per cent committed to Juve and my national team and I hope to win both titles this season.

"I hope I have given information with these words of mine. Surely the bad guys will continue to give the wrong information but I cannot do anything to prevent this."
