Celtic hitman Anthony Stokes is delighted with John Guidetti's growing influence at the club.

Guidetti is at Celtic on a season-long loan deal from Manchester City and has wasted little time in hitting the ground running in Scotland.

The Swede scored after just eleven minutes in Celtic's 5-0 weekend win away at Ross County, while Stokes himself hit a brace.

And Stokes is happy with what Guidetti has added to the Celtic squad this term.

"John’s done very well since he came in, and his goal return has been excellent", the Irishman told his club's site.

"He has added something to the squad, a major plus."

Stokes feels though that the entire Celtic squad need to shoulder the responsibility for now putting together a consistent run of results.

"But we all need to step up now and show some form", he added.
