Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren has expressed his unhappiness despite his side’s 3-2 win over Queens Park Rangers yesterday.

In an eventful game at Loftus Road, the Reds broke the deadlock in the 67th minute, courtesy of Richard Dunne’s own goal.

The hosts equalised through Eduardo Vargas in the 87th minute before Philippe Coutinho regained Liverpool’s lead three minutes later.

The Chilean international leveled matters for QPR for the second time in injury time, but Steven Caulker’s own-goal minutes later sealed the deal for the Merseyside giants.

And Lovren, who was not satisfied with Liverpool’s display despite the win, however lauded the character showed by his side against QPR.

The Croatian international felt Liverpool made things difficult for themselves and hence called for improvement from everyone.

"It was an unbelievable game. It's the first time in my career that I'm unhappy after a win”, Lovren explained to his club’s official site.

“We could have easily won the game – we had a few chances to finish the game at the end.

“We made it very difficult for ourselves. The most important thing was the three points. We showed our character and sometimes these games happen.

"We had one minute to win the game and something unbelievable happened. But I'm not satisfied. I think we can be better, everyone can be better. We need to show it in every game.”
