Marouane Fellaini believes Manchester United's 2-2 draw with West Brom this evening was not a good result in light of looming clashes against Chelsea and Manchester City.

The Belgian midfielder was brought off the bench by Louis van Gaal in the second half at the Hawthornes and scored Manchester United's first equaliser of the night; Daley Blind scored the Red Devils' second, striking in the 87th minute.

Manchester United now sit sixth in the league table with 12 points from eight games.

However, their next two matches are Chelsea (home) and Manchester City (away), something which leads Fellaini to think a point against West Brom was not good enough.

"I don't think it was a good result for us because the next two games will be difficult", he told the BBC.

"We offered too much space in defence but next week is a big game and we have to learn to focus for the whole game", he added, reflecting on the West Brom game.

"We know we have a problem with the balance between defence and attack but we play and train all day to get better.

"It is a big game for us [against Chelsea] and we have to win. I am determined to get things right – that's why we play football."
