Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho admits was surprised and not entirely happy to see Eden Hazard agree to let Didier Drogba take the Blues' first penalty against NK Maribor this evening, in a Champions League clash which ended 6-0 to the hosts.

The Blues wasted no time in stamping their authority on the game after Loic Remy scored with 13 minutes on the clock at Stamford Bridge.

Drogba then delighted the Chelsea faithful by scoring from the penalty spot in the 23rd minutes, while John Terry then put the hosts 3-0 ahead in the 31st minute.

A Maribor own goal put Chelsea four up, while Hazard then hit a brace, one from the penalty spot and one a neat run with a cool finish, to make the Blues 6-0 winners on the night.

Hazard is Chelsea's first choice penalty taker and Drogba admitted post-match he asked the Belgian to let him take the spot-kick, to allow him to score the first goal of his second spell at Stamford Bridge.

Mourinho admits he is not best pleased at that, but can have few complaints as Drogba scored.

"Yeah, I was surprised. I wasn't particularly pleased because I have my choices and Eden is the first choice", he told ITV.

"After that it is Drogba, Oscar, [Cesc] Fabregas and Diego Costa, if Eden is not on the pitch.

"But because it was a goal I'm happy with that", Mourinho added.
