Fabio Borini is fuming at Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers for not even including him on the bench against Real Madrid earlier this week and now wants out of Anfield in January.

The Italian forward, who spent last term on loan at Sunderland, saw Rodgers opt for Lazar Markovic and Rickie Lambert to provide his attacking options on the bench, leaving Borini out of the picture.

Borini was also left out of the matchday squad for Sunday's win over QPR and was hoping to be restored for the Real Madrid game.

As a result of the snub Borini is now fuming, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, and wants to leave Liverpool in January.

Three Serie A sides are alive to his situation, Inter, Sampdoria and Fiorentina, and are hoping to tempt him back to Italy in the new year.

Borini turned down moves to Sunderland and QPR in the summer in order to fight for his place at Liverpool.

The forward has now become convinced he will not receive the chance to impress however.
