Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey believes that the Gunners must be wary of a reaction from Sunderland later today.

Sunderland suffered an embarrassing 8-0 thrashing away at Southampton last weekend and will host Arsenal at the Stadium of Light hoping to bounce back.

Black Cats manager Gus Poyet wants his side to banish memories of the Southampton loss with a strong performance and Ramsey is wary over what that could mean for Arsenal.

"I’m sure Sunderland’s manager and fans will be asking for a reaction and we’ll be expecting a tough game", the Welsh midfielder told his club's site.

And the 23-year-old has called for a quick start from his side to put Sunderland under early pressure.

"After losing by the margin they did the other day, they’re all going to be up for it and hopefully we can manage that and get on top early on to make them anxious and come away with a win", he added.
