Celtic manager Ronny Deila has issued a warning to the club's rivals Rangers, saying the Bhoys are ready to take on all comers in the Scottish League Cup and desperately want to win the domestic treble this term.

Both Celtic and Rangers are through to the semi-finals of the tournament, though whether the pair will meet each other is yet to be known, with the draw due to take place on Saturday.

A potential clash between the two rivals has been widely talked up, with Rangers boss Ally McCoist saying he would take "anyone but Celtic" in the semi-final stage.

But Deila has no fear of Rangers and is ready for Celtic to play anyone in their quest for League Cup glory.

"We want to win the treble and we will take anything that comes in front of us", Deila told a press conference this afternoon.

"Whoever we meet in the semi-final is going to be big and we look forward to it", the Norwegian added.

Deila also stated his belief that his Celtic side are getting better with every game they play.

"We are progressing. I also feel the bottom level is higher so we are getting points on days that aren't good as well.

"The players are getting fitter and are getting to know one another better."
