Veteran Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger feels it is too early to predict that Chelsea can remain unbeaten in the Premier League this season.

Wenger’s Arsenal earned the 'Invincibles’ tag when they remained unbeaten in the 2003/04 Premier League campaign.

The Gunners won 26 and drew 12 games as they won the league title and they were presented with a golden Premier League trophy for their remarkable achievement.

The run stretched to 49 games before they were eventually beaten by Manchester United in October 2004 at Old Trafford.

Former Arsenal defender Sol Campbell said earlier this week that he feels Cheslea, who are unbeaten this season, have the capability to match Arsenal’s feats.

But Wenger believes that it is too early in the season to predict that the Blues will remain unbeaten in the league.

"It's too early [to say that Chelsea can emulate the ‘Invincibles’]”, the Frenchman said in a press conference this morning, when asked.

Arsenal will host Chelsea in the league this season in April next year.
