Leeds United boss Neil Redfearn insists he has given his team a "license to pass" in the wake of their 3-1 victory over Blackpool at the weekend.
Redfearn's men blew the Seasiders away at Elland Road to end their eight-match winless run in style and leave the manager purring, especially at their first half performance.
The former midfielder is a strong proponent of passing football and has again stressed the message he has delivered to his players.
Redfearn told LUTV: "Just getting them back on the ball again [I’ve been telling them], to enjoy having the ball. They've been given this license to pass, to play, to pass forward, to go and express themselves, to go and join the front, to get in and around their box to create chances.

"We've expressed that they're in it together, we defend as a team and we attack as a team. So when we defend, we start defending from the front, we work hard, we get back in, we drop deep and get bodies behind the ball; be difficult to beat."
And Redfearn feels getting his message across to the players will take time, but he believes he is firmly on the way.
"It's a drip feed message which we've got to continue with and keep down these lines", he added.
