Christian Eriksen is hoping that Denmark can cope with the pressure of a crucial Euro 2016 qualifier away against Serbia tonight.

The Danes slipped to a 1-0 defeat at home against Portugal in their last qualifier in October and Eriksen saw his performance publicly criticised by coach Morten Olsen.

Denmark are looking for a game changing performance from Eriksen tonight and the midfielder is hoping his team can handle the pressure, while he himself is looking to assume responsibility on the pitch.

"There will always be pressure on us", Eriksen admitted to Ekstra Bladet.

"I want to take responsibility", the Tottenham man continued.

"Some days you will succeed, some days you won't succeed."
