Sunderland striker Danny Graham has joined Championship side Wolves on an emergency loan deal until 31st December.

The 29-year-old, who spent the last season on loan, first at Hull City and then at Middlesbrough, returned to the Stadium of Light this season and managed a lone appearance for the Black Cats in the League Cup.

However, with players such as Connor Wickham, Steven Fletcher and Jozy Altidore all vying for a spot up front, Graham has found his chances limited, finally seeking a move out of the club.

A deal has now been agreed between the two clubs and former Swansea City player is expected to be at Compton on Monday to start training.

“I am delighted to have agreed a loan deal to join Wolves and am looking forward to meeting the lads on Monday and starting training", Graham told Wolves' official site.

“Wolves is a good club which has done very well over the last year.

"This is a good opportunity for me to try and play some regular football and get back to scoring goals."

Graham's new side are currently placed ninth in the Championship table with 27 points from 17 matches.
