AC Milan want to tie up a loan deal for Galatasaray’s Wesley Sneijder until the end of the season in January.

Long linked with a move to Manchester United, the Dutchman’s relationship with the Turkish giants is not going through its smoothest period.

A row between the club and the player over late salary payment almost cut short the relationship a few months ago, but despite the club clearing all of Sneijder’s dues, a sense of unease remains.

AC Milan, who will lose Keisuke Honda for a month in January due to the Asian Cup, are looking to add a creative force in the winter transfer window.

And they have indentified the former Inter Milan schemer as an ideal replacement for the Japanese playmaker, according to Italian daily Corriere dello Sport.
