Carlos Tevez is delighted that he is finally playing in the big games for Argentina again, but has stressed that he still needs to improve.

Before the game against Croatia last week, the forward last played for Argentina in the 2011 Copa America, but after that he was frozen out of the squad by former manager Alejandro Sabella.

But Gerardo Martino recalled the Juventus man, who is in good form in Italy this season, to the squad and he played in both Argentina’s friendlies against Croatia and Portugal.

Tevez is naturally pleased to be back on the field for the Albiceleste and said that he missed playing in the big games for his country.

He stressed the importance of performing for Juventus consistently to remain in the frame for Argentina in the future.
