Bayern Munich are oozing confidence over winning the race for sought after Norwegian wonderkid Martin Odegaard.

The 15-year-old midfielder became the youngest player to ever play in a European Championship qualifier earlier this year, when he turned out for Norway against Bulgaria.

Odegaard, who calls Stromsgodset his club side in his homeland, is wanted by a who's who of Europe's elite.

Bayern Munich are in the mix, along with Liverpool, Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund, Ajax, Juventus, Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Odegaard is currently weighing up his options and taking guided tours at clubs showing an interest in signing him.

He is on his second visit to Bayern Munich though, leaving the German champions delighted at the impression they have made on the midfielder.

And they are growing in confidence that Odegaard will eventually choose to link up with Pep Guardiola and company at the Allianz Arena.

A source at Bayern Munich told SportBild: "He feels at ease at Bayern."

Odegaard's father, Hans-Erik, has consistently insisted that his son's football development will come before any monetary gain.
