Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino does not feel his job is under threat at White Hart Lane, claiming he has full support from chairman Daniel Levy.

Spurs moved Tim Sherwood on at the end of last season and drafted in Pochettino from Southampton in the summer.

But the man who left Espanyol by mutual consent in 2012, with the club bottom of La Liga, has struggled with Spurs and presided over four defeats in six Premier League games at White Hart Lane.

However, the Argentine believes he is being backed to turn the situation around at the club.

"I have a chat every day with Daniel on the training ground – that is normal", he was quoted as saying by ITV.

"I understand football, but I always feel the support from him and the club.

"This is important for me, because the people want the best for the club", Pochettino added.

Tottenham, who currently sit 12th in the Premier League standings, are next in action away at Hull City on Sunday.
