A decision on Norwegian teen sensation Martin Odegaard’s future is not expected before the start of the new year.

The 15-year-old prodigy, who recently became the youngest ever player to play in a European Championship qualifier, is coveted by some of the top clubs such as Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United, Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund.

Bayern Munich sounded confident earlier this week and think that they are close to securing the signature of the Stromsgodset schemer. Odegaard is expected to visit Liverpool and Real Madrid's training next month.

Dortmund have also entertained the Norwegian international, but Odegaard is yet to make a decision on his future.

According to Portuguese daily O Jogo, clubs need to wait a little longer and a decision on the teenager’s future is not expected before early next year.

The attacking midfielder will give a visit to all his suitors and is expected to make a decision based on his footballing development and not on the size of the club.

The 15-year-old has scored five goals and provided six assists in 23 league appearances for Stromsgodset this season.
