Borussia Dortmund have suffered a blow with the news that Marco Reus will not return to action before 2015.

Reus has suffered a torn ligament in his ankle and as a result is expected to only be ready to return for the club's winter training camp.

With the Bundesliga enjoying a lengthy winter break, from 20th December until 31st January, he will not play again until 2015.

As a result Reus will miss Champions League games against Arsenal (next week) and Anderlecht (9th December).

He will also be absent for Bundesliga matches against Eintracht Frankfurt, Hoffenheim, Hertha Berlin, Wolfsburg and Werder Bremen.
